As we approach the close of a tumultuous 2017, sentiment about the outlook for the global economy, the U.S. economy and the electronics industry is high. Growth prospects across the electronics supply chain are positive, at least through the middle of the year. The short-term challenges for business leaders are low margins and supply shortages. And there’s a nagging suspicion that sentiment might be out-of-whack with reality.
